Yes. We will try to design our websites in WordPress if we can. The reason is that WordPress allows the owner the best possibility of adding their own content if desired. Likewise, if there is the need for someone else to manage the website, WordPress provides the easiest way for another developer to take over the site. Usually the creativity needed for most websites can be achieved using WordPress. However, there are times when creating the site from scratch is best. When that is needed we with the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. At that point we will usually use Python fro the backend with a framework such as Django to create a full web application.

We have discovered clients have significantly different needs. Some clients need large database management, some need eCommerce, some need logo designs, some need us to write the copy for the site, some only need their website redesigned. It is in the best interest of the client that we not try to have fixed prices for every scenario but we allow the client to determine the cost due to what is needed for the site. We have ongoing communication with our clients about the hours used and the hours needed, so that an informed budget friendly decision can be made.
